Le 25 Septembre 2021, a eu lieu à Épinal l'inauguration de la stèle à la mémoire de la 45th Infantry Division qui a libéré Épinal.

Le Général Thompson commandant l'actuelle 45th Infantry Division et ses officiers, sous-officiers et hommes du rang, était les invités d'honneur pour cette inauguration.

On September 25, 2021, took place in Épinal the inauguration of the stele in memory of the 45th Infantry Division which liberated Épinal.
