Le 6 octobre nous avons inauguré une stèle pour les soldats du 15 ème régiment de la 3 ème division d'infanterie américaine avec les noms des soldats qui ont péri lors de la libération du village de QUENOCHE (Haute Saone), parmi ces soldats qui ont libéré ce village il y avait le soldat de première classe Frank TAVERNI de NEW YORK père de 2 petits garçons, son fils BOB a traversé l'Atlantique pour rendre hommage à son père. Un habitant du village qui avait 17 ans à l'époque se rappelait très bien avoir vu le père de BOB gisant à l'endroit où la stèle a été érigée.

On the 6 of october we inaugurated a stele for the soldiers of the 15th regiment who were killed while liberating the village among them was PFC Frank TAVERNI who is buriedat the Epinal American Cemetery.
The mayor of Quenoche is adressing to the village people and guests his allocution.
The son of PFC Frank TAVERNI , Robert TAVERNI and his wife had made the trip from NEW YORK to honor his father's memory and the gallant soldiers who lost their lives while liberating QUENOCHE.
