Saturday 11th of october 2014, the city of Charmes with the Mayor, councilmen and inhabitants honored Major SAUTER's grave of the 315th Regiment of the 79th INFANTRY DIVISION (The CROIX DE LORRAINE division).
The city of CHARMES adopted the grave of Major SAUTER from WYOMING who was killed in Lorraine the 11th of october 1944.
His two nieces SUSAN and CINDY had sent a picture of Major SAUTER and mails to thank the people of CHARMES for the adoption of their uncle's grave.
